Products

Why would I want a surveillance camera? In an article that appeared in The New Zealand Herald at the end of 2002, shoplifting was said to cost New Zealand retailers $360 million to $725 million each year. Surveillance cameras are a very good way of significantly reducing that loss. We have a model of camera and other equipment to suit your needs.

Are these wireless cameras the X-10? No. These cameras are not the X-10.

Are they like the X-10? Yes, but only in as much as they are small and wireless and use similar technology.

Are they better than the X-10? We think so, and we think our prices are better too. We also offer wired cameras, dome cameras, and other products to meet your security and surveillance requirements.

What sort of interference could I get from modern cordless phones etc? The latest cordless phones work at 2.4GHz, while older cordless phones work at 27MHz - both different bands - so should not give interference. However, some mobile phones can give interference while a call is in progress if the phone is particularly close to either the camera transmitter or receiver.

Can I use more than one wireless camera at the same time? How many? Yes, up to eight wireless cameras can be used at the same time. However, to be sure that the particular frequencies used by the individual cameras do not overlap you will need to get the wireless cameras specially selected. Email info@securitycamera.co.nz for futher details.

You haven't got the product listed that I want. Can I get it by special order? Probably. We have exclusive access to dozens of other products that we do not stock, at the same very competitive price level. For more information email info@securitycamera.co.nz with any product enquiries.

Credit cards

What credit cards do you accept? Visa, Mastercard, and all others accepted by Paypal.

What name will appear on my credit card bill? The entry will appear as "paypal@securitycamera.co.nz".

Can I buy from you if I don't have a credit card? Send a cheque (in NZ$ made out to "SecurityCamera.co.nz Ltd") to our office (address on the Contact page).

Will you respect my privacy? What will you do with my personal information? Information collected is not sold or given to any third party. It is collected solely for the purpose of making the sale.

Shipping

Where does SecurityCamera.co.nz ship to? New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands.

How much will shipping cost? A minimum of NZ$5 to the New Zealand mainland and the Australian cities Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide. Other locations will have to be quoted on a case-by-case basis. Email info@securitycamera.co.nz with your destination and order details. (Making this enquiry will not commit you to the sale.)

How will my order be shipped? Express courier delivery.

How long will delivery take? We aim for 3-7 days if the items are in stock. If a product is out of stock for more than a few days it will be noted as such on the product info page with an expected stocking date.

Warranty/Returns

What sort of warranty comes with the cameras? Every product has a three month replacement warranty.

What happens if my camera dies just after I get it? Email us (info@securitycamera.co.nz) or call our cellphone (021 844-944) to arrange a replacement.

If I order the wrong camera can I return it? Can I exchange it for a different model? Refunds are not made. Exchanges can be made within ten days of purchase, but will incur a restocking fee. Also, any difference in price will have to be paid. Goods must be returned in an as-new condition.
